When/where is the wedding being held?

The wedding ceremony and reception will be held from 4–10:30pm on Saturday, May 17th at Grand Central Oyster Bar, located inside Grand Central Terminal in Midtown Manhattan.

How do I get to Grand Central Oyster Bar inside of Grand Central?

Grand Central Oyster Bar, opened in 1913, is the oldest restaurant inside of Grand Central Terminal. It is located on the south side of the Dining Concourse Lower Level.

To get to Oyster Bar, enter Grand Central on 42nd Street and walk towards the main concourse. Follow the long ramps downstairs (pictured below) to the dining concourse, where you will find the entrance to the restaurant. Don’t forget to take a moment to talk to a fellow guest in the Whispering Gallery just outside the restaurant.

Have you reserved a hotel block for guests?

We have reserved a block of rooms at the Hyatt, which is adjacent to Grand Central Terminal and has an indoor entrance to the Terminal for convenient access. Please visit our Accommodations page for booking links and more information.

When/where is the Friday night welcome party being held?

Our Welcome Party will be held in the evening on Friday, May 16 from 6–9pm at Strong Rope Brewery in Red Hook, Brooklyn. We recommend taking an Uber or Lyft to/from Strong Rope, as local transportation to the area is limited. If you would like to take the subway partway, we recommend traveling to the Carroll St station on the F/G lines. From there, it is 10 minutes by car to Strong Rope. Once you arrive, head straight to the back and follow the signs through the double doors to the private space.

What is the dress code for Friday night welcome party?

Festive, casual attire is encouraged for the Friday night welcome party. There are both indoor and outdoor areas in the private space. It can get chilly by the waterfront, so bring an extra layer if you would like.

What is the dress code for the wedding ceremony and reception?

Black tie optional. Anything from cocktail dresses to gowns and tuxedos or black/dark suits. Glitz and glamour encouraged!

Can I bring a guest?

If your invitation indicates an additional guest is welcome, then yes. If not, please bring only yourself.

Can I bring kids to the events?

We would love to have your kids join us at the Friday Night Welcome Party! However, for the wedding ceremony and reception, we kindly ask that you make arrangements to attend without them.
